About this role
*Overview*
Infuse IQ is looking to hire a PRN TIME Specialty Infusion Registered Nurse for our Infusion Suite in Jackson, WY. This position is responsible for providing, coordinating, and assuring comprehensive infusion care using nursing processes and pertinent standards of care. We are looking for someone who can provide compassionate and safe care within the scope of practice as defined by the Wyoming state statutes. Candidate will work collaboratively with the Medical Director to perform health assessments/examinations, administer infusion treatment, respond accordingly to infusion reactions, provide patient education regarding disease state/medication, and respond to patient inquiries.

*Responsibilities*
- Provide safe, comprehensive, and compassionate clinical care for complex infusion therapies and medication injections
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and review of medical histories to determine appropriate infusion plans.
- Monitor patients closely for adverse reactions or complications during and after infusions, providing immediate intervention when necessary.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medication administration, including self-administration of treatments as prescribed, potential side effects, and post-infusion care instructions.
- Provide patient clinical coordination among patient, prescriber, intake team, and purchasing team
- Collaborate and confer with Medical Director on staff regarding patient status, drug management issues, and/or treatment needs
- Document all patient interactions and communication with patients, plan of treatment, assessment, treatments, patient responses/reactions to treatment, status of disease process and training activities in a timely manner within electronic health record (EHR) maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Complete training for each specialty infusion therapy
- Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during all procedures.
*Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:*
- Proven experience with IV insertion, port access, catheter care, phlebotomy, and aseptic technique in diverse settings such as hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, or home care environments.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation methods relevant to infusion therapy.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation and order entry.
- Ability to perform patient assessments effectively while demonstrating excellent communication skills. This includes obtaining and interpretation of vital signs.
- Critical care experience including ICU or emergency room settings enhances your ability to manage complex cases confidently.
- Flexibility to work PRN hours while maintaining high standards of patient safety and care quality.
- Must be able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, without loss of efficiency or composure, and be able to perform under stressful conditions when confronted with multiple requests, demonstrating prioritizing skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with multiple disciplines
- Ability to be self-directed, extremely organized and detail oriented requiring minimal supervision.
- General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, Internet and email; Home internet access may be required.
- Ability to lift and perform repetitive motions.

- Graduation from an accredited nursing program - BSN preferred
- Current and valid Registered Nursing license
- At least two years of relevant working experience that must include at least one year as a specialized RN in infusion suite/center or home infusion environment
- Critical care experience preferred
- Current and valid Basic Life Support certification required
- Meets mandatory education and health surveillance requirements.
Candidate must demonstrate competence in technical, interpersonal and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions. Wage is negotiable based on experience.
Candidate must provide own malpractice insurance which will be reimbursed.
