RN - Women's Health & Prenatal Clinic

Description: RN/OB Nurse Mon - Fri 8:00am to 5:00pm Key Responsibilities: • Conduct patient assessments, including obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints • Administer medications, injections, immunizations, and treatments as ordered by providers • Provide education to patients on pregnancy, nutrition, breastfeeding, postpartum care, and newborn care • Assist healthcare providers during OB, gynecologic, and women’s health examinations and procedures, including prenatal, postpartum, and family planning visits • Monitor fetal heart tones and perform routine prenatal assessments as directed • Coordinate laboratory testing, ultrasounds, referrals, and follow-up appointments • Support high-risk pregnancy management in collaboration with specialists • Maintain accurate documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and manage clinic supplies • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control standards Skills and Qualifications: • Valid nursing license (RN) with relevant obstetrics and gynecology experience preferred • Strong knowledge of maternal and women's health, prenatal, and postpartum care • Excellent communication and patient education skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment • Proficiency in EMR systems and documentation standards • Compassionate, detail-oriented, and team-oriented mindset • Ability to support high-risk pregnancies and collaborate with specialists We foster a supportive and growth-oriented environment committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Requirements: · Current Mississippi RN license in good standing. · Graduate of an accredited nursing program. · Current BLS certification. · Minimum one year of nursing experience required. · OB/Women's Health experience preferred. · EMR proficiency required. Knowledge of nursing standards of care, prenatal and postpartum healthcare needs, strong communication skills, patient-centered care, teamwork, and organizational skills.
