The new UofL Health – Brown Cancer Center's regional cancer center and Center for Rural Cancer Education and Research at South Hospital will increase access to comprehensive cancer care in South, Central and Western Kentucky. We are seeking a highly skilled RN Nurse Manager for our Oncology Infusion unit at the Brown Cancer Center - South Hospital. This leadership role involves overseeing daily nursing operations within the infusion center, ensuring exceptional patient care, compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise in oncology infusion and strong managerial skills to guide and support nursing staff during the 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. shift.

Certifications

BLSProfessional certification in leadership or clinical specialty

Requirements

  • Active Kentucky Registered Nurse License or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky
  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing (required)
  • Masters of Science Nursing Specialty or Nursing Administration (preferred)
  • At least five (5) years of experience in an acute care setting, preferably an academic medical center (required)
  • Prior management experience
  • Active Kentucky Registered Nurse License or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky (required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider
  • Professional certification in either a leadership or clinical specialty area (required)
  • If certification not present upon hire, it is to be obtained within three (3) years of hire date (required)
