*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care across various settings. This role requires proficiency in multiple nursing competencies and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and developing individualized care plans
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV infusion and injections
- Performing diagnostic evaluations and monitoring vital signs
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in critical care, emergency medicine, and acute care settings
- Providing education and support to patients and families regarding health management and disease prevention
- Documenting patient care accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner
- Assisting in procedures such as catheterization, suturing, and tube feeding
- Ensuring compliance with infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations
- Engaging in case management activities including discharge planning and follow-up care coordination
- Utilizing knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology in patient interactions
*Experience*
Candidates should have experience or skills in the following areas
- Critical care experience, including ICU or Level I/II trauma center experience
- Familiarity with medical office environments, long-term care, assisted living, or home care settings
- Proficiency in EMR systems like Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks
- Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate medical documentation
- Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities
- Background in hospice & palliative medicine, pain management, or behavioral health is advantageous
- Skills in performing phlebotomy, specimen collection/processing, and basic life support
