  • Currently licensed as a nurse in the State of Ohio
  • Has genuine interest in nursing care and rehabilitation of seniors
  • Strong leadership ability
  • Ability to coordinate the health care services for residents
  • Ability to coordinate, supervise and assist in evacuation of residents from facility, as appropriate.

Responsibilities

*

  • Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing quality resident care and maintaining a sound operation.
  • Plan, organize, and direct activities of Resident Assistants including scheduling and assignment of duties and responsibilities.
  • Supervise and direct resident care responsibilities. Instruct and oversee Resident Assistants in delivery of new and or changes in resident personal care needs.
  • Assesses the daily and long term needs of residents and their total assistance in activities of daily living and personal care services.
  • Practice effective communication with nursing department, between shifts and with other departments.
  • Administer medication and record, according to physician’s orders, facility policy and safe nursing practice.
  • Conduct nursing assessment on admission and return from hospital leave of absence, as requested by the Director of Nursing.
  • Adhere to Infection Control protocols, Facility Policies and Procedures, and Emergency Operations Plan at all times
