Responsibilities

Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing quality resident care and maintaining a sound operation.
Plan, organize, and direct activities of Resident Assistants including scheduling and assignment of duties and responsibilities.
Supervise and direct resident care responsibilities. Instruct and oversee Resident Assistants in delivery of new and or changes in resident personal care needs.
Assesses the daily and long term needs of residents and their total assistance in activities of daily living and personal care services.
Practice effective communication with nursing department, between shifts and with other departments.
Administer medication and record, according to physician’s orders, facility policy and safe nursing practice.
Conduct nursing assessment on admission and return from hospital leave of absence, as requested by the Director of Nursing.
Adhere to Infection Control protocols, Facility Policies and Procedures, and Emergency Operations Plan at all times
