About this role
Position Overview
Respect Adult Day Health Care Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide clinical oversight, assessments, and support to adults and seniors in a structured community setting. This is a stable daytime nursing role focused on preventive care, wellness, and participant engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing nursing assessments
- Develop and update care plans per MA ADH guidelines
- Administer medications and treatments
- Document all clinical notes accurately and on time
- Monitor participant health changes and intervene as needed
- Coordinate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary staff
- Provide supervision to LPNs/CNAs
- Safety & fall prevention
- Wound care and chronic disease management
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- CPR/First Aid
- Experience in geriatrics, long-term care, or community care preferred
- Strong assessment and documentation skills
Regulatory Compliance
This position adheres to Massachusetts EOHHS Adult Day Health standards (130 CMR 404), including CORI background checks, TB/medical clearance, HIPAA compliance, and completion of all required annual training.
