About this role

Show full description
Part-time RN position in the Jeff Gordon Children's Center at Atrium Health Cabarrus. 24 hours per week, 7a-7p Saturday and Sunday. The 28-bed children's unit provides inpatient and sub-specialty care to pediatric patients, including general pediatric, Progressive Care, and Epilepsy services. The RN will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, using evidence-based practice and clinical decision making.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • PALS certification is required within 6 months of hire
  • One year of pediatric in-patient RN experience is preferred
