American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Telemetry position requiring at least 1 year of recent telemetry experience and a KS or compact RN license.

Details

  • Work in the Cardiac Telemetry unit (4N) of a hospital setting
  • 12-hour night shifts, 1900-0730, three days per week
  • 36 hours per week
  • Every other weekend rotation required
  • No on-call requirements
  • Floating required to all acute care units
  • Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Active KS RN license or compact RN license required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry experience required
  • 2-5 years of Telemetry experience preferred
  • Experience with TR Bands directly from procedure required
  • Experience with cardiac drips required (Heparin, Bumex, Lasix, Cardizem)
  • Experience with Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process required

Additional Information

  • Provide telemetry nursing care within a cardiac unit setting
  • Facility is a nicotine-free campus
  • Holiday coverage required for one holiday from each group: Thanksgiving Eve or Day, Christmas Eve or Day, and New Year's Eve or Day
  • Local and travel candidates accepted at the same bill rate
  • Orientation includes multi-day training across campuses, including virtual Epic training
