Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our skilled nursing facility team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents.
Licensed Vocational Nurse Key
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff to ensure effective patient care. Assess and monitor patients' health status, documenting changes and communicating with the healthcare team. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and care plans. Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in staff training and development to enhance nursing skills and knowledge. Address and resolve any patient or family concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Licensed Vocational Nurse Skills and
Qualifications
Current LVN license in the state of practice. Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred. Strong leadership and supervisory skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Proficient in electronic health records and other healthcare technology. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
