About this role
Shift Differentials are available! RN SIGN ON BONUS $2000+. BriteLife Recovery strives to be the preeminent provider for those living with substance use and co-occurring disorders. The Nurse is responsible for promoting a safe and therapeutic environment for clients. Tasks include assisting with admissions, administering medications, carrying out care plans, educating clients on medication side effects, monitoring withdrawal symptoms, maintaining EHR, providing crisis management, and assuring quality of care per OASAS standards.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing in New York
- Experience with documentation and data entry within an EHR
- Experience working with alcohol or substance use treatment preferred
- Demonstrated computer proficiency
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Ability to assess needs and deliver nursing services to individuals detoxifying from substance use
- Ability to screen for psychoactive substance toxicity, intoxication, and withdrawal symptoms
