Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to Medical-Surgical and Oncology patients.
- Care for post-operative general surgery patients throughout recovery.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care.
- Administer medications, blood products, and treatments.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge care.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Document patient care using Cerner EMR.
- Maintain a safe, patient-centered environment.
Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited ASN or BSN nursing program.
- Active Indiana RN license (or eligible to obtain).
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care RN experience .
