Visiting Nurse Health System (Visiting Nurse) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Home Health team who’s not only a skilled nurse – but also a calm, compassionate, and empathetic presence caring for our patients. This role is not just about nursing; it's about being a significant part of our patient’s care, representing Visiting Nurse's values of Respect and Integrity, Excellence, Stewardship, and Care. We are seeking an individual willing to work Monday through Friday across Fayetteville and Jonesboro area. This is a non-exempt position. This position is headquartered out of our corporate office at Ravina in Dunwoody, GA.

In this position...

Provide nursing care, emotional support, patient and family education regarding disease process, self-care techniques, prevention strategies, clinical nursing observations, and documentation for Home Health patients. Provides nursing services as ordered by the physician and under the direction of the RN. Reports subjective and objective patient findings to the RN.

Under the direction of the RN, obtains physician’s orders and ensures orders exist for each visit made, Provides necessary skills to report changes appropriately; documents pertinent information and care rendered to the patient to ensure continuity of care. Demonstrates knowledge of infection control standards and techniques as per VNHS policy and procedures and consistently practices these techniques.

Do you have....

LPN Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or program Completion of an IV training program or certification in IV therapy Experienced in advanced wound therapies Current license by the Georgia State Board of Nursing. Minimum of one - two (1-2) years’ experience in a Medicare-certified home health agency is preferred. Minimum of two (2) years as an LPN Current valid Driver’s License, proof of auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle

Salary Range: $61,634.56-$92,451.84
