Job Title: Aesthetic Nurse (RN) – Injectables, Laser & Operating Room Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused aesthetic nurse with experience in aesthetic medicine, laser treatments, and surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care throughout the aesthetic journey, including consultations, injectable treatments, laser procedures, perioperative nursing, circulating and postoperative care. This role requires clinical excellence, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding aesthetic outcomes in a safe and professional environment. Key Responsibilities Aesthetic Nursing * Perform comprehensive patient assessments and consultations. * Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and providers. * Administer cosmetic injectables, including neurotoxins, Alloclae and dermal fillers, within scope of practice and clinic protocols. * Educate patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, and post-treatment care. * Monitor patient responses and document treatments accurately in electronic medical records. * Maintain high standards of patient safety, infection control, and clinical compliance. Laser Treatments * Perform laser and energy-based procedures, including: * Laser hair removal * Skin resurfacing * Pigmentation treatments * Vascular lesion treatments * Skin rejuvenation procedures * Assess patient candidacy and educate patients regarding treatment expectations and aftercare. * Ensure proper operation, calibration, and maintenance of laser equipment. * Adhere to all laser safety standards and protocols. Operating Room Nursing * Provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care for cosmetic surgical procedures. * Prepare operating rooms, instruments, equipment, and supplies. * Assist surgeons during procedures by maintaining a sterile field and anticipating surgical needs. * Monitor patients during procedures and document clinical observations. * Coordinate patient recovery and discharge instructions. * Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Patient Care & Education * Build strong patient relationships through exceptional customer service and professionalism. * Conduct follow-up communications and monitor patient recovery and satisfaction. * Address patient concerns promptly and professionally. * Promote patient retention through education and continuity of care. Compliance & Quality Assurance * Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation. * Ensure compliance with state nursing regulations, OSHA standards, HIPAA requirements, and clinic policies. * Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs. * Stay current with advancements in aesthetic medicine, laser technologies, and cosmetic surgery. QualificationsRequired * Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. * Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred). * Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, or cosmetic surgery. * Experience administering cosmetic injectables and performing laser treatments. * Strong knowledge of facial anatomy and aesthetic treatment principles. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills. Schedule: Full-time or Part-time Reports To: Medical Director / Plastic Surgeon / Practice Administrator Compensation: Competitive salary plus potential bonus and commission opportunities based on experience and performance. Pay: From $40.00 per hour Work Location: In person
