About the Role
We are seeking a Med Surg Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract opportunity in Machias, Maine. This role is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care while supporting medical-surgical patients in accordance with facility and Maine State standards.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care for adult medical-surgical patients
Perform patient assessments and respond quickly to changes in condition
Administer medications and treatments according to nursing standards
Document patient care accurately using Cerner
Maintain confidentiality and support the mission, vision, and values of the organization
Requirements
Active Maine RN License Required
BLS/BCLS Certification Required
ACLS Certification Preferred
Med Surg nursing experience preferred
Strong assessment, communication, computer, documentation, and independent work skills required
