The Ethylin Wang Jabs and Meng Wu labs are looking for a Research Fellow for several ongoing projects to investigate biologic regulators, pathways and networks involved in embryogenesis and birth defects. Applicants should have wet laboratory experience in molecular, cell and/or animal model systems. These projects involve a broad array of well-established techniques such as mouse genetics, CRISPR gene editing, cell culture, differentiation of iPSCs and organoids, microdissection of tissues, and RNA-seq, as well as emerging single-cell/spatial multi-omics profiling technologies, to study gene regulation at the cellular and tissue level.
Projects in our labs are funded through NIH grants and contracts. The candidate will work within an integrated, multidisciplinary team of experimental and computational scientists. The faculty are dedicated to mentoring members of the laboratory toward their career goals.
