Nursing Assistant - Progress Care at St Joseph Hospital Eureka, CA. This position is Full Time and will work 12-hour, Night shifts. Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka is recognized in 2025 by U. S. News & World Report for excellence in 8 types of care.

The Nursing Assistant employs intellectual, interpersonal and technical skills to perform basic patient care.

Under the supervision of the Assistant Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse or RN, the Nursing Assistant assists with routine, direct bedside care of patients of various ages as defined by the department scope of service. Such duties include, but are not limited to: personal hygiene, data collection and observation, vital signs, I&O, use of equipment, ADL's, documenting on the medical record, answering call lights, and recognizing and responding to emergency situations.
