About this role
The Staff Nurse provides nursing care requiring specialized knowledge judgment and skill derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social and nursing sciences. Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and directs nursing care with a focus on family centered care for individuals or groups of patients within the assigned scope of practice. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs of the patients served regardless of age and developmental status.
Performs leadership and professional duties, patient-centered care duties, quality improvement and safety duties, evidence-based practice duties, and informatics and technology duties. Part Time Nights, 7pm-7:30am, 24 hours/week.

Requirements
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required or must be obtained within 5 years from date of hire
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) training from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience is preferred
- Experience in healthcare is preferred
- Experience working in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required
- Experience working an electronic medical record system (i.e. EPIC) or similar software is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
