About this role
Glendale Post Acute Center 125-bed skilled nursing facility located in the heart of Glendale California on Verdugo Road. Prioritizing Certified Nursing Assistants for AM shift. CNA LICENSE REQUIRED.
The purpose of your job position is to provide each resident with routine daily nursing care in accordance with the resident's assessment plan, with current federal, state and local standards and regulations that govern the facility, and as directed by your supervisors. Essential duties include answering call lights, ensuring nursing care is provided in privacy, making residents comfortable, assisting in feeding residents, helping residents with daily grooming and bathing, proper lifting and transitioning residents, helping residents sit stand and walk, transporting residents to dining area, timely reporting of change in residents' condition, protecting resident files per HIPAA, abiding with facility policies, following infection and control policies, reporting occupational exposures.

Requirements

- High school diploma or GED
- Completion CNA training from accredited school
- Valid CNA certificate number
- CNA license
- Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language
