About this role
Functions under the direction of the Site Manager. Responsible for performing a wide variety of clinical procedures requiring independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative in the utilization of the equipment for the diagnosis and/or treatment of diseases. The registered nurse is responsible for implementing the nursing process based on expanded knowledge and experience.
Provides patient care with an understanding and awareness of age specific needs. Addresses the biological, emotional, developmental, psychosocial and patient/family education needs. Core responsibilities include Cath Lab/EP competencies, intraprocedural care to stable and unstable Cath/PCI/EP patients, administering conscious sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, sterile technique, patient education, and compliance with Joint Commission standards, State and Federal Regulations.

- RN
- Multi-State Compact RN
- Graduate of an accredited/approved School of Nursing (Required)
- Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact
- Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ACLS - Instructor or ACLS - Provisional
- 1 year ICU/CCU/ER or previous Cath Lab/EP Lab experience (Preferred)
- Able to communicate and understand verbal and written English language
- Display a positive attitude (WellStar's Standards of Gold and Values)
