American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Transitional Care Unit (TCU) position requiring 2+ years of progressive care experience and prior travel nursing experience.
Details
- Work in the Transitional Care Unit (TCU), located within a recently expanded Emergency Department
- Care for a 6-bed unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Patient population includes a mix of observation patients and placement needs with widely varying acuity and diagnoses
- Night shift

3x12-hour shifts, 19:00-7:00
- Float required to MedSurg, ICU/PCU, and ED when TCU census is low
Requirements
- Active RN license (Missouri or Compact) required in hand at time of consideration
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of progressive level care experience required (PCU, ICU, or ED)
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Floating to different units may be required based on facility needs
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of consideration
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
- Previous staff or permanent employees of the facility will not be considered
