Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Electrophysiology RN Lead to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. You will proactively assume responsibility and accountability for several patients during a designated time frame while following policies and procedures. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.

In this role you will

Assess and coordinate patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Provide all nursing care for Cardiovascular Services to include Cardiac Cath/IR/EP and non-invasive cardiology procedures. RN to assist physicians with ablations, pacemaker insertions, and complex arrhythmias.

Assume responsibility and accountability for several patients during a designated time frame while following policies and procedures. Prioritizes and organizes patient flow to ensure best utilization of time. General guidance is given and is expected to function with initiative and sound judgement to provide quality services.

Demonstrate effective safety practices. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and Medical Staff. Demonstrate competence when performing other related or licensed functions.

Until designated EP Lab opens will help with Cath, IR EP procedures. Doing about 7-12 procedures a day now. Once EP Lab no call required.

Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation. 2 + years of RN experience in Electrophysiology and Cath lab knowledge Lead experience highly preferred Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree, BSN is preferred NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of start American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card required within 6 months of employment start date 30 minute call window
