*Position Overview*
We are seeking a *full-time Functional Medicine Provider* (NP, PA, DO, or MD) to deliver high-quality, root-cause–focused care within our well-established systems. The ideal candidate provides steady leadership, communicates with clarity and kindness, partners closely with our functional nutritionist, and empowers clients to take ownership of their health.
This is a *full-time, in-person role* with occasional telemedicine visits.
*What You’ll Do*
- Lead *6–8 comprehensive client visits per day*, delivering science-based, systems-driven functional medicine care.
- Create and adjust personalized treatment plans based on labs, symptoms, and client progress.
- Partner with the functional nutritionist and provider team through Weekly Case Review Sessions.
- Support clients through clear communication, healthy boundaries, and grounded emotional presence.
- Lead or co-lead Workshops, AMA sessions, and Community events (two evenings per month).
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation within 24 hours.
- Contribute to a culture grounded in ownership, humility, clarity, honesty, and growth.
*What Success Looks Like*
- High client satisfaction and consistent progress across treatment phases.
- 85–90% client adherence to treatment plans.
- Strong partnership with the Functional Nutritionist and clinical team.
- 12–18 client testimonials generated in the first year.
- Full integration into Upstream’s systems and cultural values.
*Required Qualifications*
- NP, PA, MD, or DO with *3+ years clinical experience*
- Functional Medicine certification (or actively pursuing)
- Strong functional lab interpretation skills
- Skilled in prescribing supplements, hormones, and medications
- Clear, direct communication with strong boundaries
- Ability to navigate crucial conversations gracefully
- In-person availability; some telemedicine as needed
- Ability to lead client education
*Preferred Qualifications*
- Additional functional medicine training
- Experience in functional or integrative medicine
- Expertise in hormones, detox, gut health, toxicity, or autoimmune care
- Coaching or motivational interviewing background
- Strong nutrition knowledge
- Passion for leading group education in-person or online (public speaking experience helpful but not required)

- Secure messaging platforms
- Functional lab portals: Genova, GPL, DSL, Vibrant America
- Presentation tools: slides, digital resources, facilitation platforms
- Google Workspace & Loom
*Schedule*
- *Full-Time:* 36–40 hours/week
- *Clinic Hours:* Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM (MT)
- *Two evenings per month* for client education
- Optional flex hours on Fridays
- *No remote or contract options available*
*Compensation & Benefits*
- $100,000 - $140,000 Annual Salary depending on Functional Medicine training and experience.
