Cardiac and medical overflows
Telemtry including cardiac and insulin drips

DNV-Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center with leading regional intervention volume
Care for complex patients: stroke, post-craniectomy, spinal surgeries, lumbar drains, Cardiac monitoring/interventions (ensure Stroke patients’ cardiac comorbidities are being appropriately managed) Cardiac drips, Stress tests, Cardiac Caths, Cardioversions, Ablations, Pacemakers and carotid stenting

8CYT Cardiac Acute Care Unit & Remote Telemetry

Patient Population:
Cath lab post-procedure patients many of whom have A-lines and temporary pacemakers as well as some med-surg telemetry patients.
Coronary Stents, Mitral Clip Insertion, Watchman Procedure, Cross Septum Ablations,
Congestive Heart Failure, Myocardial Infarctions, CAPD/CCPD
Temporary Transvenous Pacemakers, Permanent Pacemakers, Venous/Arterial Sheaths, Pre-open Heart Patients
The Cardiac Transport Nurses, Code Blue Nurses, and the Remote Telemetry room are also part of our floor.
Unit Surgeries: Post procedure patients, mainly from Cath lab with some coming from IR

Average length of stay 48hrs so fast past environment. Wide variety of diagnosis.

Salary Details:
Hourly rate is determined by years of worked experience as an RN, education level, and internal equity within organization. Minimum rate starting at $32.50, max of salary range is $51.00. In addition to hourly rate, if candidate holds an approved certification position qualifies for certification pay of $1.50.
Required Qualifications
Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) is required within specified timeframe as outlined in the New Hire BSN Agreement policy (126.045).
Require basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.
