The registered nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing services and supporting medical providers in delivering quality health care to patients and to support the TNR mission. Essential duties include using the nursing process to safely care for patients, utilizing standard screening tools (CIWA, COWS, PAWS, pain and suicidal screening tools), implementing care plans, working closely with medical providers, administering prescribed medications, building community partnerships, maintaining training and continuing education, and documentation/billing in EHR.

Requirements

Current Alaska Registered Nurse License
Successful graduation from ADN or BSN accredited nursing program
Current Alaska Registered Nurse License
CPR certified or willing to become certified through an accredited program
Experience working with patients suffering from addiction, depression, anxiety, and other mental health diagnosis
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
Ability to climb stairs and lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
Knowledge of alcohol use disorder and substance use disorder and addiction medicine
Working knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR
