Key Responsibilities
Lead with Excellence: Collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to ensure high-quality care. Daily Oversight: Conduct rounds to ensure adherence to nursing standards and protocols. Resident Care: Deliver compassionate, person-centered care and promptly address resident concerns.
Compliance and Surveys: Participate in facility surveys to meet regulatory standards. Team Leadership: Support and mentor nursing staff, fostering collaboration and continuous learning. Education & Training: Facilitate in-service training to keep staff updated on best practices.
Incident Reporting: Investigate, document, and follow up on incidents. Care Planning: Work with interdisciplinary teams to develop and review individualized care plans. Emergency Response: Lead emergency situations, ensuring resident and staff safety.
Quality Assurance: Contribute to initiatives that improve the overall care experience.
Qualifications
- Valid RN License in the State of New Jersey
- Nursing home or long-term care experience preferred
- Strong commitment to compassionate, high-quality care and professionalism
