Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for critically ill adult patients in the ICU, including ongoing assessment and monitoring of vital signs and hemodynamic status
• Manage ventilator support, medications, and sedation per protocol; respond rapidly to deteriorating conditions
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
• Perform and document clinical care activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards
• Adhere to infection control practices, safety protocols, and patient-identification procedures; educate patients and families as appropriate

Requirements

• Active Colorado Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• PALS certification required
• One year of critical care/ICU experience preferred
• Ability to work a 3×12-hour night shift in an ICU setting
• CAPS registration may be required to work in Colorado; processing may take up to two weeks
• Travel assignment eligibility and ability to work in the listed state and setting
