Assignment Overview Shift: Variable, 4x12hrs Hours: 48 hrs/wk Start Date: May 11, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in Arizona, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and Charge Nurse experience.
Details ICU (Intensive Care Unit) setting 12-hour shifts with flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed May be required to work up to 48 hours per week 13-week contract Requirements Active AZ or Compact RN license required Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS, and Conscious Sedation Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required Charge Nurse experience required Additional Information Travelers may be required to float to other departments in which they are qualified, including taking a patient load or performing task-oriented duties such as answering call lights and phones Orientation is held on Mondays only — missing the compliance deadline will result in being pushed to the following Monday's orientation RTOs for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's will not be approved Conscious Sedation certification can be obtained through the facility for a fee of $187.50 if not already held COVID-19 vaccine is not required for this position
