About this role
DSHS is hiring a Public Health Nurse.
This is a full-time position based in Austin, Texas, that will be responsible for: Assisting in coordinating, writing, and reviewing infection control guidelines, data reports, and surveillance. Coordinating with partner agencies on regulatory topics and quality assurance. Maintaining knowledge of the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN). Preparing administrative healthcare safety documents and reports for high-profile audiences. Serving as HSU public health liaison and subject matter expert.
Candidates must be licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Texas or a state that recognizes reciprocity through the Nurse Licensure Compact.
The salary range is $5,425.33 - $7,155.75 per month. The deadline for applying is Monday, November 9.
