What We're Looking For
Education
4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
Experience
One year relevant experience, preferred.
- Licensure/certification/registration: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
What You'll Do
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to adult acute-care patients with a variety of medical conditionsPerform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized plans of careAdminister medications, IV therapies, and specialized treatments safely and effectivelyUtilize and enhance clinical skills including wound care, IV insertion and management, blood specimen collection, and enteral feeding managementProvide care for patients with stable tracheostomies when neededEducate patients and families to promote recovery, independence, and successful transitions homeCollaborate closely with physicians, therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve positive patient outcomesParticipate in initiatives designed to improve patient experiences, reduce readmissions, and support healthier communitiesContribute to a culture of excellence, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
