About this role

Manages all aspects of Medicare reporting information to insure optimum payment according to the Omnibus Reconciliation Act 1987 (OBRA) and Perspective Payment System (PPS) regulations and federal guidelines. Manages a work area in the Jefferson House environment to ensure that a high quality, cost-effective service is delivered by the department in support of the hospital's strategic plan, and the function's goals and objectives.

  • RN
  • CT Nursing License
  • Current CT Nursing License
  • BSN preferred
  • One or more years MDS experience
  • Demonstrated and applied knowledge of Omnibus Reconciliation Act (OBRA) and Perspective Payment Systems (PPS) regulations
  • Computer proficiency required
  • Excellent assessment and communication skills
