About this role

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Utah or compact state RN license.
  • Minimum of 3 year of nursing experience, preferably in hospice, home health or palliative care.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Compassionate demeanor and ability to support patients and families during difficult times.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for home visits. Mileage reimbursement $.70 per mile.
  • Current BLS Certification
  • On-Call 1-3 shifts per week, to include 3 weekends during the 13 week contract depending on staffing levels. Able to respond within 45 minutes to patient needs when on call.
  • Able to work holiday
  • Hospicesoft/careficient EMR experience preferred.
