Graduate LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse

The Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care, contributing to assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. They promote patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction by addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs. The role involves coordinating care, educating patients and families, administering treatments and medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Additionally, LPNs participate in unit decision-making, support staff mentorship, and ensure compliance with policies.

Requires graduation from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing and appropriate licensure. Candidates should demonstrate compassionate care, effective communication, teamwork, and the ability to evaluate intervention outcomes. Experience in a clinical environment is preferred.
