We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced, collaborative Emergency Department in New Mexico. This is an hourly, non-salaried position designed for an experienced RN who is comfortable providing high-quality care in a dynamic acute-care environment.
Candidates must have a minimum of three (3) years of RN experience to be considered.
The Emergency Department is a 19-bed unit located on the first floor and maintains an approximate 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio . The multidisciplinary team includes Registered Nurses, Nurse Externs, Paramedics, EMTs, Medical Assistants, CNAs, Phlebotomists, Pharmacists, and Providers.
With an average daily volume of approximately 108 patients , the department treats a broad range of emergency conditions, including cardiac emergencies, abdominal pain, respiratory distress, stroke, and trauma. The organization also provides specialized bariatric services and pediatric and pediatric intensive care services.
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, timely, and evidence-based nursing care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
