Shift Information
This is a full time position with the option to work four 10-hour shifts, or five 8-hour shifts. No nights, no call, no weekends, no holidays.

What You Will Do
The Outpatient RN obtains a health history on patients by telephone or appointment. When patient has appointment, the nurse does a physical assessment in addition to a history. Orders preadmission tests following anesthesia’s criteria and physician orders. Uses nursing judgement when deciding which charts need to be seen by anesthesia.
Required Education
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Preferred Education
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Required Licensure/Registration/Certification
Texas license as a Registered Nurse. Certified in Basic Life Support.
Preferred Licensure/Registration/Certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Required Experience
Two years experience as an RN in a hospital or outpatient environment.
Preferred Experience
Critical care experience.
