Full-time RN position in the Birth Center at MercyOne. Provides and directs safe, effective, and culturally-competent patient care for mothers and infants. Key accountabilities include assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care using critical thinking and evidence-based practice. Roles may expand to include labor and delivery and/or transitional nursery. 12-hour night shift, 7pm-7:30am, .9 FTE (36 hours/week).

Requirements

Associate's Degree in Nursing
Registered Nurse license in Iowa
Registered Nurse license in Illinois within 1 year
BLS Certification
NRP within 6 months
No experience required
Ability to lift more than 50 pounds
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)
