We are seeking a skilled and dedicated ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate 13-week contract opportunity in Vail, CO. The ideal candidate will have critical care experience and be committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced intensive care unit environment.

Responsibilities
*
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor patient conditions, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and neurological status
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
- Operate and manage advanced life support equipment such as ventilators and infusion pumps
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Respond quickly to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions
- Accurately document patient care and progress in the EMR system
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery processes

Requirements

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado or compact state license
- Minimum 1 year of critical care (ICU) experience preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment
