About this role
Complete Care at Willow Creek is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the clinical operations of our skilled nursing, subacute rehabilitation, and specialized Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) programs in Somerset, New Jersey. This is a unique opportunity for a proven long-term care nursing leader to play an instrumental role in the future of a center preparing for its next chapter. We are seeking a hands-on clinical executive who can build strong teams, establish a culture of accountability and excellence, and drive exceptional outcomes across skilled nursing, post-acute rehabilitation, and specialty care services.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum of 5 years of Director of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility required
- Strong background in long-term care, post-acute care, subacute rehabilitation, and medically complex populations
- Experience overseeing specialized programs, including Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) services, strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success with survey management, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives
- Experience leading large nursing teams and developing future clinical leaders
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
