Southern Health Partners is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our medical team at the Morgan County Jail. This is an opportunity to provide hands-on nursing care in a structured environment while working alongside a dedicated correctional healthcare team.

  • What You’ll Do
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients within the facility
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered
  • Complete assessments, documentation, and nursing interventions
  • Monitor patients and recognize changes in condition
  • Collaborate with RNs, providers, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records
  • Respond appropriately to urgent and emergent medical needs
  • Follow facility security procedures and correctional healthcare protocols
  • ❤️ Provide professional, respectful, and compassionate patient care
  • Qualifications
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Alabama
  • Current CPR certification
  • Previous nursing experience preferred
  • Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in a structured correctional environment
