Southern Health Partners is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our medical team at the Morgan County Jail. This is an opportunity to provide hands-on nursing care in a structured environment while working alongside a dedicated correctional healthcare team.

- What You’ll Do
- Provide direct nursing care to patients within the facility
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Complete assessments, documentation, and nursing interventions
- Monitor patients and recognize changes in condition
- Collaborate with RNs, providers, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Respond appropriately to urgent and emergent medical needs
- Follow facility security procedures and correctional healthcare protocols
- ❤️ Provide professional, respectful, and compassionate patient care
- Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Alabama
- Current CPR certification
- Previous nursing experience preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a structured correctional environment
