Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor Medical Psychiatry

Inova Fairfax Hospital is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated RN Unit Supervisor to join our Medical Psychiatry Unit on the day shift. The Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor serves as a front line leader who is accountable for delivering highly reliable results related to quality and best practices to improve the clinical operations of the unit.

Minimum Qualifications

Certification - Basic Life Support; Completion of a revised Charge Nurse workshop within 3 months of hire Licensure - Licensed Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia Experience - 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse Education - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or Associate's Degree RN within 1 year of completing their BSN)

Preferred Qualifications

2-3 years previous inpatient psychiatric and medical experience preferred Previous charge/leadership experience preferred
