Registered Nurse, PACU Outpatient/Inpatient Surgery (36 hours, Evenings). Location: Menino PACU (Outpatient/Inpatient Surgery).

Schedule

36 hours, Permanent Evenings, Every 3rd Weekend. The Menino Post Anesthesia Care Unit/Pre-Operative Unit consists of 52 bays providing advanced Intensive Care monitoring and Pre-Operative care. The registered nurse is primarily responsible for professional performance and direct patient care, encompassing nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and coordination of care.

Requirements

  • RN License (Massachusetts)
  • BLS Certification
  • PALS Certification
  • ACLS Certification
  • Nursing Degree (Diploma, ASN, or BSN; BSN preferred, must obtain within 4 years)
  • 1+ years of nursing experience
  • Critical Care experience required (PACU, ED, ICU)
  • Previous/Current PACU experience strongly preferred
