About this role

Summary

R egistered Nurse - Endoscopy Procedure

Full-Time 6:45a -3:15p

Occasional on-call shifts, late workdays and holiday coverage may be required.

The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.

Reviews and documents care provided, outcomes of care, and evaluations of care.

Follows the professional standards of care.

Applies evidence, professional standards, and best practice to bedside caregiving through critical thinking, experiential evidence, and evidence-based practices.

Demonstrates ability to prioritize care based on changing assessment and needs of patients.

Requirements

Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.

Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.

Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.

Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire.

Preferred

Qualifications

Recent experience in specialty preferred.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
