Location: Temple, TX. (Central Texas)

What we need

We’re currently seeking Registered Nurses to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas; The #1 one city in the nation for Nursing opportunities and advancement! Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.

Our Medical Telemetry Unit is a 38-bed unit focused on providing a high level of direct and individualized care. This unit offers you with ample learning opportunities with a full spectrum of medical diagnoses and comorbidities. Our Medical Telemetry unit also offers:

We have a varied medical/telemetry population including

  • Sepsis
  • Pulmonary Conditions or Respiratory Distress
  • Chest Pain
  • Infection
  • Patients requiring isolation; including to negative airflow rooms
  • Patients requiring skin and wound care including wound vacs
  • Patients requiring scopes, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line placement, paracentesis, angio-cath, pacemaker insertions and chest tubes.
  • Enteral Feeding Tube Insertion and Maintenance
  • Patients requiring Cardiac monitoring
  • GI abnormalities
  • Trach care
  • Genitourinary abnormalities

Requirements of the Ideal Candidate

  • Graduate of RN School of Nursing
  • ADN required
  • Must be licensed to practice professional nursing by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners

Qualifications
