*Nursing Supervisor (RN)*. River Park provides acute inpatient services to children, adolescents, adults and seniors and features a 22-bed residential treatment program for children and adolescents and a 25-bed adult forensic unit. River Park was recently recognized as a Top Performer by Joint Commission and maintains the highest standards for quality care.
The *Nursing Supervisor (RN) *assumes responsibility for management, delivery and coordination of care for the assigned unit(s). This includes the assessment, planning, provision, and evaluation of patient care and nursing services for assigned nursing units. Consults with the managers, staff, medical providers, and other members of hospital administration regarding hospital issues and interpretation of facility policies to ensure that patients' needs are met.

Maintains performance improvement (PI) activities within the department(s) and participates in hospital- wide PI initiatives. Responsible for mentoring RNs, LPNs, MHTs and other clinical staff as needed. Provides coverage as a nursing supervisor or staff nurse as assigned.
*Knowledge of Joint Commission Accreditation Standards for Behavioral Health*
- Knowledge and demonstrates utilization of crisis intervention techniques.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Zoom
- Effective communication with patients, staff, and peers.
- Knowledge of West Virginia State legislation related to behavioral health and PRTF.
- Demonstrates tact, resourcefulness, patience, and dedication.
- Knowledge of CMS and Federal Code Regulations for Behavioral Health and Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet hospital/corporate deadlines.
River Park Hospital operates a total of 187 mental health beds located on 2 campuses. Our main hospital campus is a 165-bed licensed mental health facility serving the needs of patients of all ages. Our second campus is Barboursville School housing a 22-bed PRTF licensed facility located on 8 acres in the center of beautiful Barboursville Park. Our mission is to assist patients in returning to their lives with the highest level of mental health. We offer a full spectrum of programs, which include acute inpatient services for older children, adolescents, adults and older adults, along with a variety of psychiatric residential programs for both children and adolescents.

Our clinical team is comprised of psychiatrists, medical physicians, psychologists, nurses, therapists, case managers/social workers, therapeutic recreational therapists and mental health technicians.
