Employment Type:Full timeShift: Description: Position Purpose: The Registered Nurse Specialty positions are responsible for care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person's physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. The Registered Nurse functioning in the spirit of teamwork is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, procedures and guidelines of the Organization. Specialty: Heart and Vascular Location: 7901 Diley Rd, Ste 140, Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110 Hours of office: Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm What You Will Do: Performs as liaison between Cardiology physicians, nurses, patients, families and other treating disciplines. Educates and instructs patients/families on continuity of care, procedures and/ or medications. Provide clinical in-basket oversight and coverage via Epic. Complete prior authorizations, FMLA and disability paperwork Minimum Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Licensure / Certification: In good standing with a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio Experience: Two years RN experience required; one year experience in a medical office or in Cardiology Specialty preferred Demonstrates the ability to plan, organize and manage patient care, including delegation to and supervision of other members of the patient care team Position Highlights and Benefits: Mount Carmel Health System recognized by Forbes in 2025 as one of America’s Best State Employers.
