About this role

The Staff RN is a professional care giver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a select group of patients/families for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients during admission, Phase 1 and Phase 2 anesthesia up to and including transfer/discharge. Responsibilities include establishing therapeutic relationships with patients and families, performing initial and ongoing focused assessments, developing individualized plans of care, administering medications, participating in clinical research, and functioning as a patient/family advocate.
