About this role
*Emergency Room RN; Full-time, night shift. *
*2 positions available.*
*Utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care. Adheres to Gonzales Healthcare Systems policies, procedures, and the orders of the Medical Staff in providing and supervising safe and efficient care in all areas. Provides direction and supervises Licensed Vocational Nurses, Nursing Assistants and Unit Clerks. Effective oral and written communication skills in English. *
*Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing. *
*Registered Nurse currently licensed by the State of Texas. BLS required at hiring. ACLS, TNCC, and PALS or ENPC within 8 months of hiring. *
*One year experience as a professional Registered Nurse preferred. Organizational and leadership skills. EKG Interpretation class preferred. *
