About this role
LVN to join mental health team in a fast paced Pecan Valley Centers Mental Health Clinic providing services to children and adults with serious mental illnesses and developmental disabilities. Monday through Friday (usual hours are 8am - 5pm). Minimal overtime.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following: focused physical assessments (vital signs, EKG's, labs), prior authorizations timely concurrent computer documentation / prescription drug ordering injectable medication administration frequent phone, email, face to face and telemedicine interaction with physicians, ANPs, patients, caregivers, case managers, clinic manager, front office staff, insurance companies and pharmacies.
Region-wide travel required.
Qualifications
Licensed to practice as a Vocational nurse (LVN) in the state of Texas Some mental health experience preferred. Must have a stable employment history Be professional/diplomatic Energetic Organized Possess excellent attention to detail/multi- tasking abilities Above average computer skills. Communication Team–work Determined patient advocacy Superior customer service
PHYSICAL ABILITIES: Must be able to pass an agency required physical. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, squat, lift 25 pounds, sit for an extended period, and reach overhead.
