Monterey sits on California's central coast, where Pacific fog rolls over Cannery Row and the bay's kelp forests draw sea otters and divers alike. A laidback maritime town with world-class seafood, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and a tight-knit medical community at nearby Community Hospital—it's a scenic, slower-paced place to plant roots between San Francisco and Los Angeles.
