About this role

As a CNA, you are an integral player in providing compassionate care and support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. Your responsibilities revolve around ensuring the well-being of your clients, helping them maintain their independence, and promoting a safe and supportive environment. These are for full time and per diem positions. Key Duties include providing direct quality resident care, measuring and monitoring blood pressure and other vital signs, serving meals to residents and helping to feed them as needed, monitoring conditions of residents during shift and reporting concerns, supporting residents with ADLs such as personal hygiene, mobility, and toileting, and carrying out routine nursing tasks as assigned by the Nurse.

Certifications

CNA - New York State

Requirements

  • Currently certified as a Nurse Aide in New York State
  • High School Graduate or GED (preferred)
  • Currently certified as a Nurse Aide in New York State
  • 6 months to 1-year prior experience in long term care (preferred)
  • Computer skills required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Caring and compassionate attitude towards the elderly
  • Ability to adapt to different home environments and work independently
