Schedule
Three 12-hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to inpatient Behavioral Health patients.
- Assess, monitor, and document patients' physical, psychiatric, and behavioral health status.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
- Monitor patients for changes in condition, behavioral concerns, and potential safety risks.
- Support patients experiencing psychiatric or behavioral crises using appropriate de-escalation techniques.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EPIC electronic medical record.
- Promote a safe, therapeutic, and supportive environment for patients, families, and staff.
- Comply with all applicable hospital policies, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Float within the medical center as assigned to support operational and patient-care needs.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license .
- Minimum of one year of professional nursing experience .
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) .
